Solstice Hare
Multi-layered coin art featuring a beautiful carnelian stone
In the foreground of this scene is a signature Campsodella hare silhouette, with his curled leg and long ears in recycled silver.
He hare gazes up at the red stone sun on the longest day of the year, and of in the distance the ancient landmark of Stonehenge. His bright silver finish is in contrast to the darker background which has been oxidised.
Coins used: antique silver (925) silver threepence (hare) and 1916 half-crown
Stone: approx. 6mm carenlian
Overall size approx. 3.2cm in dimeter
Comes in an eco gift box on an 18” sterling sliver chain
